All RPCC email accounts are hosted online by Microsoft Office 365. New students who apply to RPCC should have their Office 365 account activated within 24 to 48 hours. Transfer students from other LCTCS colleges (to include former dual-enrollment and Early College Option students) may not automatically receive an RPCC Office 365 account due to their LoLA accounts still being affiliated with the college where they previously attended or applied. LoLA accounts for students with long periods of inactivity also may not automatically receive an RPCC Office 365 account.
Faculty, staff, and students who are unable to log in to their RPCC student Office 365 account using the information provided above, should send an email containing their first name, last name, LoLA ID number (or LoLA username), and a brief description of the issue to email@example.com to open a support ticket. Normal operating hours for RPCC IT Services are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Support tickets opened during non-business hours will be replied to as soon as reasonably possible on the next business day.
RPCC Office 365 accounts include up to 1TB of cloud storage as well as the ability to download and install full versions of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 to personal computers, tablets, and smart phones. Software licenses remain active as long as the account remains active. Accounts remain active as long as the student is actively enrolled and attending RPCC. RPCC student Office 365 accounts will be terminated if a student transfers to another LCTCS college. Accounts may also be terminated for students who are inactive for a year or more. Please refer to the instructions provided below for additional information.
Canvas passwords and Office 365 passwords (for students) are synchronized from LoLA. Students must change their LoLA password to change their Canvas and Office 365 passwords. Changing your LoLA password while already logged in to LoLA can cause synchronization issues with Canvas and Office 365. The preferred method to change your LoLA password is to click on the gold "CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD" button on the LoLA login page.
